Proudly Serving Texas since 2014

It was 2014 and my wife and I are expecting our first born son. At this time I decided to pursue a trade and enrolled into a Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Certification program at the South West Texas Junior College in Uvalde. After studying for two years and obtaining a certificate of completion, I moved to the San Antonio area in hopes of pursuing a career in the HVAC industry and providing a comfortable life for my new and growing family. I started my journey as a maintenance technician for a commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Company in San Antonio. I was fortunate enough to work with people who excelled in their craft and who enjoyed teaching me the ways of the trade. I would eventually transition from a maintenance technician to a commercial service technician role and would spend several of the next years performing demand service calls, troubleshooting and diagnostics, and service repair work for some of the biggest commercial and residential HVAC outfits in the greater San Antonio and Austin and Round Rock areas. As I continued to learn and grow, I realized early on that I greatly enjoyed my line of work and the feeling that I could help people and their businesses by providing a reliable, honest service. In my sixth year in the industry I decided to obtain my Contractors License in Environmental Air and Processing. TRUChill ACR Services was born in November 2022. Since then, I have dedicated myself to building a reliable and affordable HVAC Service that not only produces results but that you can trust. We aim to provide our customers the best experience and we strive to provide solutions that make sense.

To whom it may concern,

My name is Jorge I. Trevino and I am the owner at TRUChill ACR Services. People who know me can tell you that I do not come from a mechanical background. I do not have a long blood line of AC mechanics that precede me. In fact, I was probably like 19 years old before I even knew how to replace a flat tire on a vehicle. Like those people, I never would of guessed that I’d become an HVAC and Refrigeration Mechanic.

In the beginning, a career in HVAC made sense; my wife and I have started a family and the industry was in high demand. I’m 24 years old at the time and thinking that “god willing, I can work 30 years in this trade”. I would soon learn that nobody could have prepared me for the adversities I would face in the first 3 years of my early career. I vividly recall one of my first managers allowing me to sleep in the back of my service van behind the shop in between double shifts as I tried to earn money to secure an apartment in San Antonio. I would eventually have to juggle between being a father, being a husband, and being a tradesman who worked long hours seven days a week, 360 days a year. It is, perhaps, one of my proudest accomplishments- that despite the turmoil, the emotional burdens, the stressful obligations, and the adversities that would present themselves in the work place that I found a way to stay the course. I once told people that upon completing my trade school, I was going to work in the field as long as it took me to, one day, obtain and operate my own service company. Seven years later I obtained my State Issued Contractors License and established TRUChill ACR Services in 2022.

Throughout my journey I have been extremely blessed. I’ve had the privilage of working with some of the top service technicians and installers in Texas. Men who never hesitated to guide me and who shared their experience and knowledge with me over the years. Managers who, for whatever reason, always believed in me and decided to provide me the tools and resources to succeed. HVAC not only provided me a means to pay my bills, but it provided me a framework to live by. It gave me a set of principles and values to which I could live by. It taught me much about life and humility. It taught me the value of integrity and the gratification that comes from helping others.

My mission at TRUChill is to preserve the customer service experience in the HVAC industry. As the trade continues to evolve and transitions in technology continue to propel us towards more “revenue driven” and “high volume” corporate culture settings, I’m looking to build a long lasting relationship with our customers that can last for generations. Taking it back to when a handshake could seal a deal. At the end of the day, I’m not looking to sell you a system. I want to ensure that you are getting the most out of your HVAC and Refrigeration systems. I’m looking to protect your investments. We promise to listen more than we speak and we will strive to provide you solutions that make sense.

On behalf of TRUChill and its affiliates, I just want to thank you for welcoming us into your community. We look forward to many years of providing customer satisfaction and we are excited to earn your business.

Warmest Regards,

Jorge I. Trevino
